Emerald was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX. In 2017, Emerald graduated from Del Mar College with her Associates Degree in Nursing and Associates of Applied Science. In 2019, she completed her new grad nursing residency program at Christus Spohn South Hospital. While working at Spohn, she worked as a charge nurse and preceptor on a Med-Surg and Ortho unit. In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic hit and Emerald left home to go work the front lines as a Travel Covid Nurse. From the start of her nursing career, Emerald has always dreamed of becoming an Aesthetic Nurse Injector. In the summer of 2022, Emerald took a break from travel nursing and moved back home. While she was on break, the opportunity at Z Med Clinic for a nurse injector opened and she quickly applied. Emerald made the big decision to stop traveling and stay home to pursue her dream. She joined the Z Med Team in October of 2022. Since then, Emerald has been trained and certified to practice advanced Botox, Fillers, Kybella, Thread Lifts, utilizing PRF and PRF EZ Gel treatments, dermaplaning, advanced chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, laser hair removal, and IV vitamin infusions.  Outside of work, Emerald continues to work at home breeding, whelping, and caring for her Frenchie’s. When Emerald isn’t working, she loves spending time with her significant other, family, and close friends. Emerald’s goal in aesthetics is to make all her patient’s feel comfortable and confident in their skin.
