Dr. Bertram Prosser, M.D. MPH, Medical Director
Dr. Bertram Prosser received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He completed residency training at the University of Arizona South Campus in Tucson, Arizona, and also completed a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University. He primarily practices as an Emergency Physician.
Prior to attending medical school Dr. Prosser attended the US Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree and spent the next 9 years as a Naval Aviator.
Dr. Thomas Chick, M.D.
Thomas Wesley Chick, M.D. is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Pulmonology. Dr. Chick graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Biology and completed his graduate work at the University of Arkansas, School of Medicine in 1965. He then completed his training for pulmonary and internal medicine at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1969 and was on the faculty until 1972. Dr. Chick worked at the University Of New Mexico School Of Medicine from 1972 to 1993 and the VA during the same years; he relocated from Bay City to Palestine in September, 2001. Dr. Thomas Chick's previous association includes Chief of Medicine at Matagorda General Hospital. Presently, he is associated with Palestine Regional Medical Center and is a partner of Magnolia Health Systems. Magnolia Health Systems offers a sleep study facility in addition to the Magnolia Medical Plaza diagnostic clinic. Dr. Chick has particular interests in treating asthma, COPD, and sleep apnea. Dr. Chick is married to Marian Montoya-Chick, who is a certified Nurse Practioner with Magnolia Health Systems. They have a daughter, Ruby, who attends college at the University of Tyler as a math major. The Chick family loves living in East Texas and spending time at the beach.
Dr. Stanly Heckrodt, MD, D.Ph.
Dr. Heckrodt received his MD from the University of Oklahoma Sciences Center and then went on to do his internship and residency in family practice at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the supervising physician at IMC Victoria and San Antonio/Oak Hills. He takes a special interest in aviation and serves as senior aviation medical examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration. He enjoys flying, shooting, hunting, reading and scuba diving with his wife and his two children.

Allen Ford was born and raised in South Texas. He and his wife Laura have a 11 year old daughter Aubrey. Allen has been an NP since 2007. His family enjoys small town living in Refugio where Allen is the football team medical provider. In 2011 our team was fortunate to win the state championship in the 2A division. Allen enjoys spending time with family, friends, watching sports, NASCAR, woodworking, cars and gardening.

Donny Marion is a Houston native and Nationally Certified Physician Assistant. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served 4 years in the service here in the states as well as in Central and South America. He completed his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Baylor College of Medicine.
